Soldiers sweet

Soldiers sweet -

IMG_4878

My friend Cupcake Julie had its Christmas party this past weekend.

You may remember her sugar on the beautiful theme decorations.

stuff like that.

(Here is the post last year, if you want to see dancing sugar plums visions in your head for the next few days. Be sure to check the children play bakery, too. It is incredible.)

It is difficult to imagine, but this year was even more beautiful than the last.

Cupcake colonel was there again this year.

And so was this.

And this one.

And that little. These guys were all over the place.

You can also remember seeing them in the book of Toronto Signature Post.

Teatro Verde is the only store I've actually seen them have sold. It makes me happy to see them on the screen.

Anyway, I love 'em. So festive and sweet.

As a surprise for Julie, I made some cake pops inspired by them to bring to the party.

Wanna see?

guys Cupcake Nutcracker.

She screamed. I smile.

They are double decker cake pops, too. Tricky and a little higher, but I could not resist.

I also did some Christmas tree cake pops.

IMG_4592

Much easier. But instead of them green, I kept them in its scheme of holiday colors.

I really like like that.

Speaking of trees, some of Julie decorations this year also included two new.

Completely beautiful. I wish you were here with me.
