The Easter Chick Cake Pops last week were certainly cute. FYI, all the body with the feet were hands down the winner. In fact, it was a beat down. I almost feel sorry for the other chicks. Thank you all for your contribution. But even with all their kindness, I could not pass by without Easter try my hand at some rabbits. So here they are ...
See ears! I found some pastel "Bunny Corn" at The Fresh Market. GOAL! Yes, he really said that on the container. So cute. The name alone makes me almost buy, not to mention, when I saw them, I thought ... rabbit pops. Moreover, I have a new appreciation for the candy corn. Growing up, they were always rejected on Halloween. I mean orange and brown candy has never really appealed to me. But this year, I actually ate at Thanksgiving when I made Turkey Cake Pops and was sold. I always thought ... caught ... they were hard candy. But they are not. They are small soft chews sugar.
They are really good and taste even better in pretty colors! I can not stop watching them. They just make me happy!
Now, if you're really ambitious, you could make rabbits in coordinating colors of candy corn. blue bunnies, rabbits yellow, pink bunnies and even green. Not me. It was enough in pink and white. Those of you who have pops Before what I mean.
I hope you can find corn rabbit somewhere, but if not, just check a candy aisle near you and get creative to the rabbit ears.
I made these with a strawberry cake mix for convenience. Now I'm not a big fan of strawberries, but they were YUMMY additional
