Perfectly peanuts -
Pretty, cookies, peanut butter with only five ingredients :!
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
4 oz semisweet chocolate Baker, melted
1/2 cup finely chopped peanuts
This is my kind of recipe!
- Preheat oven to 325. Mix the peanut butter, sugar and egg until smooth.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Remove mixture and roll into 18 balls.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet 2 inches.
- Flatten each ball using a fork to make a crisscross pattern.
- Bake 18-20 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Cool 5 minutes on baking sheet and cool completely on rack.
- Melt chocolate.
- Dip one end of cookie in melted chocolate, then dip into chopped peanuts. Repeat with the other side.
- Place on wax paper covered cookie sheet and refrigerate until the chocolate hardens.
