I made some cookies sugar cookies tiny sugar for you. ] I love little and I like a little play with my food ... but I'm sure you know about me now.

and you probably know that I do more than baby cookies.

They are cute on their own, but I really need to put on the screen.

Cookie Stands

on these 3 levels of sugar cookie dessert, means I did.

eeek! Cookies cookies. Key-ute.

Making Sugar Cookies

I love sugar cookies because they require some basic ingredients that I almost always at hand.

They can be cooked in no time - especially with the recipe I use my friend Bridget to bake at 350. It has been my go-to recipe lately. I own love because nothing should be set to room temperature. And dough does not need to be chilled before rolling either. Equals Awesome! I hate waiting. So I love this recipe. When the dough comes together, it will be lumpy, but do not worry. Just grab it and knead slightly and is ready to roll and cut. And he looks beautifully, too.

Here is the recipe for Bridget sugar cookies and ice on some royal mint cookies I've done it a few weeks ago. And here is the recipe on its website.

But even better, Bridget has a book out Cookie Decorating. And I give away at the end of this post. YAY!

Decorating Cookies

In fact, I'm giving away a signed copy of his book, Decorating Cookies. Easy to understand instructions with tons of adorable decorating ideas biscuits. You'll love it.

Go down if you want to enter. Wheee!

Or if you want to see how I was doing my stand cookies, then keep reading. Not in the book Bridget ... I just inspired by his creations of biscuits and love for decoration and wanted to share with you since I like to use her recipe.

hope you love Bridget! PS I need a boot camp piping. I do not know how you do it.

Rolling Pin

Have your cookie dough on flat. I used those rubber dough strips to ensure that the thickness was the same when I was driving.

Cookie Dough

Then cut circles in his studies sizes. I used 3 7/8 3 2 5/8 and 2 1/4 inch sizes.

Cookie Dough

Before cooking, use a plastic straw to remove the center of each cookie. Straw pulp collects in the center. Convenient.

Freeze shapes cut for about 10 minutes to help avoid spreading the dough and then baked.

And when they come out of the oven, use it again straw to make sure the holes remain the same size.

Shapes

Use leftover dough and small knives to cut out shapes for your desserts to go on the screen.

A pipe tip as the one on the right to circle with rounded corners from the tip is cone-shaped.

made great mini-macaroons or whoopie pie. Just type in the tip on the counter to release the dough

Cookie Dough Shapes

Many small forms

Cookie Cutters

shapes. . - about 1 inch wide.

alphabet tiny cut. XOXO

oval graduate -. Plain on one side and pleated on the other

And my favorite - I can not live without -. Graduated circle cutter I used to do the pits

Graduated Cookie Shapes

You'll want to use four different sizes to make the 3-tier means

Note :. for chocolate biscuits, I swapped half 1/2 cup cocoa and flour used all vanilla in the recipe Bridget.

Piped

After they are baked and cooled, then comes the piping. This will always smoother in my head when I really began piping.

First hose with ice outline and then fill with flood icing.

However, for that, I ended up using a consistency royal icing somewhere between two and pipes and filled with the same consistency

Piped

Ugh - . wonky lines. Not what I expected.

So after filling and set completely before icing, I Piped points around. Camouflage it.

Much better.

Let dry overnight cookies. And after all the cookie decorating icing royal save leftovers in an airtight container or in the pastry bag with the ligated ends and the cap closed to finish the project the next day.

Now comes the fun part.

Decorating

ice cakes and decorate!

details easy for major impact.

Luster Dust

Oh and macaroons, try painting them with a bit of luster dust.

Just mix some powder with a small amount of clear extract and you can paint directly on cookies.

Jolie.

Play food

Pretty dang cute!

Cookie Dessert Stands

Even cuter on the screen.

They were surprisingly easy to get up.

Cookie Sticks

Start with the help of cookie sticks for support. These are larger than the lollipop sticks I generally use for cake pops (bottom right).

The sticks should be about 6 inches in height for the stands. Buy the sticks of 6 inches or 8 inches reduce.

Use a cookie stick to gently rotate through each cookie opening to make sure it passes through before building.

And make sure your cookie icing is completely dry and set the day before.

Sugar Cookie Stands

  1. Start with the smallest form of cookies. It should not be frozen. Place on a flat surface and insert the cookie key. Slide the largest iced biscuit on top. Having two cookies on the bottom will give you more support and keep the stick straight.
  2. Cut striped straws into 1 1/2 inch sections. Drag a piece of straw on the stick and push down as a spacer / edge.
  3. Drag the second largest iced biscuit on the stick until it stops at the straw. Then drag another piece of straw on top.
  4. Drag last biscuit on top until it stops at the straw. Then drag one more piece of straw on the very top. Wrap a piece of washi tape around the straw and cut a triangle for a topper cute flag
  5. Note :. Not shown. Use the royal icing piping remains between the bottom of biscuits and pipes points around the centers of each level to help secure cookies instead you build. Fix desserts levels with royal icing too. Then let it dry and not move for a few hours. I skipped this step because I wanted to get the right to take pictures.

Sugar Cookie Dessert Stands

There you have four biscuits for 3-tier stands. Bridget's recipe will make four pits with enough cookies to decorate.

And these can be completely lowered? Two levels? Just a cookie sheet? Just the biscuits? One form of cookie? Choose how you want to play.

Cookie Stands

They are super fun and totally stand out for Valentine's Day, for a dessert party or even party favors.

Enjoy!
